This era birthed the prolific production of Neurdein Frères' ND images, catering to the burgeoning tourism industry while encapsulating colonial infrastructures. Photographers, dispatched to Algeria, captured images later developed and sold to French tourists, perpetuating stereotypes through postcards that objectified Algerian women.

Photographers like Jean Geyser commercialized images of nameless or stereotyped "beautiful Fatma," reinforcing racial and gender biases. These postcards, often depicting scantily clad women, blatantly trespassed cultural and religious sanctities, transgressing the boundaries of privacy and respect.
