Synopsis

Moving portrait of a country in crisisIt's one thing to worry about the Haitian people when you read the increasingly alarming headlines but it's another to to be thrust into the lives of ordinary citizens fighting against the odds to bring their child into the world. This beautifully acted and filmed story comes straight from the heart. This film is a must-see for anyone who wants to step into the shoes of the people who are navigating this humanitarian, economic and social crisis on the ground. It stayed with me for days after I had the chance to see it on the big screen. I can't recommend it enough. Kudos to director Alexandrine Benjamin.
