french EXAMS FOR KIDS & TEENS
DELF JUNIOR (AGES 11-16)
DELF Junior is a specially adapted version for juniors/teenagers of the DELF diplomas. The DELF junior version has the same basic structure as the standard DELF. Only the topics are different: the materials take into account the interests of young people.
DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) is an official diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. They are valid for life. DELF is composed of four independent diplomas that correspond to the levels of the CEF (Common European Framework of reference for Languages): A1, A2, B1, B2.
DELF Junior version is also open to all young French citizens who reside in any
non-francophone country and who are schooled in local institutions.
The exams are divided into two parts: (1) listening comprehension, written production and reading comprehension, in a
written exam, (2) speaking and oral interaction are tested in a one-on-one exam, scheduled separately from the written exam, generally
after 4pm or on another day.
In accordance with local COVID-19 regulations, we ask that all candidates provide proof of
vaccine or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of their exam time.
