Wine Tasting: Blind Burgundy Bargains and Ballers
Blind Burgundy Bargains & Ballers
Wine Tasting | May 26 | 5:30 - 7:30 | Degas House 2306 Esplanade Ave. | $50/$40 members
The
event is in partnership with Swirl, Uncorked,
and Degas House
For our next wine tasting, we will explore the Burgundy wine region in France from top to bottom (first hint), while tasting the wines without knowing at first what they are.
Keep in mind that the white wines from Burgundy are made from the Chardonnay grape while the reds are made from Pinot Noir. Mostly. (second hint)
While tasting and learning about these wines, you will have the opportunity to compare 4 pairs of wines and try to determine which wine of each pairing is the Bargain priced wine, and which wine is the Baller (if you don't know what that means, ask a teenager). With any luck you might find that your taste is more for the bargains. On the other hand, maybe you're a Baller and you drink Grand Cru Burgundy all day. If so, we should be friends!
