Brigitte Gomane became the cook in her family from a young age while growing up in France. A former director of the Alliance here in New Orleans, Brigitte continues sharing her loving of French cuisine by leading these classes which feature traditional French dishes, including 3 courses & wine. Learn how to make traditional meals and enjoy them with a glass of wine and conversation!

All classes take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8 in the new cooking demo kitchen at The Southern Food & Beverage Museum, 1504 O.C.Haley Boulevard.

Wednesday, July 8, 2015: Traditional dishes from Bretagne, Brittany.

Mouclade: moules à la crème fraiche

Oeufs en Meurette

Wednesday, October 7, 2015: Traditional dishes from Bourgogne, Burgundy.

Oeufs en Meurette: oeufs au vin rouge et champignons
Poulet Gaston Gérard: poulet à la crème, moutarde et comté râpé

 

 

$65 for members (save $10 when you sign-up for 2 classes, $15 when you sign-up for 3 classes, or $20 if you sign up for all 4 classes)
$80 for non members per class
Price includes class + dinner + wine.

RSVP deadline: 4 days before class date.
Classes are open to children 12 & up, but must be by an adult
