About this event:
An interesting evening where the worlds of architecture, art, urban planning, and New Orleans history intersect. Langlois, a Professor at the National School of Architecture in Bordeaux, specializes in U.S. urbanization and historical context, specifically Louisiana. Joining him is Alain Pras, who photographs industrial sites, and Russell Desmond of the French Quarter’s beloved Arcardian Books. They will unravel the fascinating story of a small scale replica of New Orleans as it was in 1915, made in France more than 30 years ago by jazz enthusiasts. This model is currently here in New Orleans, and has yet to find a permanent home.
This Meet and Greet is part of our Tricentennial Series. #300ans
