About this event:
Join Jodie Smith, wine-woman around town, native New Orleanian, former student of Le Cordon Bleu Paris, lover of French wine, and owner of Geaux-Geaux Wine Productions, for our Intro to French Wine Regions, pt. II. Last time we covered some the greats-Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, and the varied terrain of the Loire. This time it’s syrah, grenache, mourvèdre, cinsault, carignan, grenache, maybe we’ll even find the rare bourbelanc–the grapes of the Southeast region – Rhône, Languedoc, Provence.
Our tastings take place quarterly here at the Alliance Française- they’re casual, seated, fun, peppered with a bit of French, and informative. We sold out last time, so make sure to book early! Limited Seating. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY, FEB. 22. $22 (or $17 for Alliance members)
