For the third year, New Orleans’ Bastille Day weekend’s main event is Bastille Day Fête : a free, public festival taking place this year at the revitalized Spanish Plaza.
Catch a Mississippi River breeze while feasting on delicious French food from local restaurants and dancing to the sound of live music.

And to top it off, dogs are invited too…dress up your pup for the annual “French Dog Contest” where all dogs are welcome to show off their French spirit and win prizes.

Vendors include: Martinique Bistro, St James Cheese, Café Degas, La Madeleine, Crêpes à la carte, Bread on Oaks, Flaming Torch, Café 821 and more.

3.45-4.30 : Norbert Slama

4.30-5.00: Dogs Dress-Up Contest – French and Jules Verne themes

5.00-5.45 : Sunpie and the Louisiana Sunspots

5.45-6.00 : Kids performing – Lycée Français

6.00-6.45 : Dance lesson by Dance Quarter LLC

6.45-7.00 : Traditional “Guess the Weight of the Basket” Contest Winner Announced

7.00-8.00 : Feufollet

ALL DAY LONG : Kids activities, Free French Lesson, Photo booth, French Library and Creative workshop around the fountain !
