Pronunciation Workshop - The Sounds "on" and "an"

In this workshop participants will have fun all while improving their French pronunciation, specifically the tricky differences between the sounds "an" and "on," as well as several other complex sounds. Workshop is open to all levels.

LIBRARY HOURS:

Monday – Thursday, 10 am – 6 pm. Friday & Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm

Immerse yourself in French with books and DVDs. One of the largest French collections in New Orleans, we are open to the public, though borrowing privileges are for AF members only. We add titles monthly, and feature Adult, Learner’s, and Children’s sections.

LOAN GUIDELINES

DVDs: Borrow up to 3 DVDs for 2 weeks. BOOKS: Borrow up to 4 books for one month. Returns: Return items to the front desk or through the door slot after hours. Please remember to return; we need your help to keep our stock intact! Bring to Front Desk for checkout (or ask staff for assistance). We use a simple write in/out system.

Come by the Alliance and shop second-hand! We have used books and kids’ items for any donation amount. All donations are used to buy new titles. We accept French Fiction and DVDs in good condition on a limited basis. No VHS, CD’s or History titles. Contact us before dropping off. Merci.
