French Cooking Classes ~ Cours de cuisine

Brigitte Gomane became the cook in her family from a young age while growing up in France. A former director of the Alliance here in New Orleans, Brigitte continues sharing her loving of French cuisine by leading these classes which feature traditional French dishes, including 3 courses & 2 glasses of wine per person. Learn how to make traditional meals and enjoy them with a glass of wine and conversation!

All classes take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8 in the new cooking demo kitchen at The Southern Food & Beverage Museum. Entrance at 1830 MLK Boulevard.

Creme de potiron et pommes aux lardons / cream of pumpkin and apple with bacon chips
Poulet a la Normande /  chicken Normandy style with apple cider and apples
Tarte Tatin / Caramelized upside apple tart





$65 for members (save $10 when you sign-up for 2 classes, $15 when you sign-up for 3 classes, or $20 if you sign up for all 4 classes)
$80 for non members per class
Price includes class + dinner + 2 glasses of wine.

RSVP deadline: 4 days before class date.
Classes are open to children 12 & up, but must be by an adult
